Dear Michael,
great vid…if you only had put on a trenchcoat instead of a grey tweed (?), it would have made my day
Anyway, your blog is awesome!
Cheers,
spoozy
I like your acting skills from your last 2 videos. In this one is something great in your eyes. I’m too young so I googled Sergio Leone. HD with music is a very good combination.
A great look. Unfortunately, not a single one of my overcoats or topcoats has a breast pocket. Drives me to distraction that they do not. My tailor’s going to love me this year. Ah well!
You will like this about Leone, from the Lee Van Cleef homepage:
For his second film entitled “For a Few Dollars More”, Leone was looking for an actor to play the co-starring role opposite Eastwood — the sophisticated, competent older character of Colonel Douglas Mortimer. Leone wanted to cast Lee Marvin, but he had just signed for the film Cat Ballou. So Leone came to Los Angeles to search for another actor. He came across [Lee Van Cleef's] picture and called his agent who didn’t know what he was doing at the moment, since he had been out of the business for quite some time. Lee was contacted, and went for the interview…Coming prepared in a black overcoat and boots, Leone took one look at his silhouette in the doorway and knew he had his man. Lee was offered the film right there, with a salary of $17,000.”
Tuco,
Leone played a role in launching the careers of Clint Eastwood, Robert De Niro, and Charles Bronson. That is amazing when you stop to think about it.

I would have looked like a detective in a trench, not a hitman
Glad you like the shows.

This is a great website….keep up the great work.
That was epic! I’m a big Sergio Leone fan. Once Upon a Time in America… one of the best films ever.
oops I mean Once Upon a Time in the West.
MA: I really enjoy watching your vidoes. This one was super! Thanks for posting them.
